The Montgomery County Residential Energy Conservation Property Tax Credits is a Residential program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Programmable Thermostats, Caulking/Weather-stripping, Building Insulation, Windows, Doors, Custom, Equipment Insulation, Furnaces, Boilers, and Heat pumps. The program offers up to $5k or 100% of eligible costs. The following legislation setup this program: Montgomery County Code Sec. 52-18R, County Council Bill 02-09, and County Council Bill 39-09.
