Energy Rebates For HVAC

Like wind energy and solar, homeowners can claim tax exemptions for using energy efficient Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning units.

What is covered:

The non-business energy property tax credit or Section 25C, similar to (the residential energy efficient property credit) Section 25D, is a federal tax credit that offers a rebate rate covering 10% of total cost not to exceed $500.

Expiring Soon:

Though 25C was extended in 2017, it is set to expire on December 31, 2020, so time is limited to take advantage.
