The Montgomery County High Performance Building Property Tax Credit is a Multi-Family Residential, Commercial, and Industrial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Solar Space Heat, Photovoltaic, Wind, Passive Solar Space Heat, Solar Water Heat, Biomass, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Day lighting, and Small Hydroelectric. The program offers up to $5 million/yr or 75% of credit from property taxes for 5yrs. The building must meet the LEED standards.
