The Baltimore County Property Tax Credit for High Performance Buildings and Homes is a Residential program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Solar Water Heat, Solar Space Heat, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, Passive Solar Space Heat, Photovoltaic, Wind, Biomass, Hydroelectric, Geothermal Heat Pumps, and Day lighting. The program offers up to $5 million which is 80% of the property taxes assessed for 5yrs. The program uses the LEED for homes rating system.
