The Carroll County Green Building Property Tax Credit is an Industrial and Commercial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Passive Solar Space Heat, Solar Water Heat, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, Solar Space Heat, Photovoltaic, Wind, Biomass, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Day lighting, and Small Hydroelectric. The program offers up to 75% of the property taxes assessed for 5yrs. The program uses the LEED for homes rating system.
