The Solar Energy and Small Hydropower Personal Tax Credit is a Residential and Commercial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Photovoltaic, Solar Cooling, Day lighting, Small Hydroelectric, Solar Water Heat, and Solar Space Heat. The program offers up to $3.5k or 50% of the personal tax liability. The following legislation set up this program: S.C. Code § 12-6-3587 and SB 1141.
