Program Details:
This is a utility rebate program offered by Carbon Power & Light which provides residential and commercial customers rebates for the purchase of terminal units, electric thermal storage, water heaters, heat pumps, motors, resistive heat, etc. This is for both residential and commercial or corporate customers. The breakdown for rebates is as follows:
- Air-Source Heat Pump: $125 – $150 per ton
- Water Heater: $1.50 – $3 per gallon or $50 depending on type of water heater
- Resistive Heat: $8 per kW
- Terminal Unit: $85
- Ground/Water-Source Heat Pump: $150 per ton
- Electric Thermal Storage: $50 per unit or $12 per kW
- Motors: $2/HP – $3/HP, varies by type and efficiency
The maximum incentive offered is $75 for a water heater.
