Wisconsin Working To Add Five Million In Energy Rebates

October 14, 2009 — Wisconsin may pass legislation to allow for a $5 million addition to the its energy rebate program. This money will come from Federal stimulus funds and would extend until early in 2012 or until the funds get depleted. The average rebate would be between $25 and $200 and would go to new efficient washing  machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, oil furnaces, dehumidifiers and air conditioners.
