The Efficiency Maine Solar and Wind Energy State Rebate Program is a Residential, Nonprofit, Schools, Local Government, State Government, Federal Government, Agricultural, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Solar Space Heat, Photovoltaic, Wind, and Solar Water Heat. The program offers up to $2k for photovoltaic systems to $4k for wind energy systems. The following legislation setup this program: 35-A M.R.S. § 3211-C, Maine PUC Ch. 930, 35-A MRSA §10112, H.P. 1038, and LD 1556. The installers must be certified.
