The Residential Energy Efficiency Personal Tax Credit is a Residential program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Boilers, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners, Building Insulation, Windows, Doors, Roofs, Circulating fans used in a qualifying furnace, Water Heaters, Furnaces, Biomass, and Stoves that use qualified biomass fuel. The program offers up to $1.5k. The following legislation set up this program: 26 USC § 25C IRS Form 5695 & Instructions: Residential Energy Credits, and HR 4853 (Sec. 710).
