The Local Option Municipal Sustainable Energy Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing Program is a Residential, Nonprofit, Multi-Family Residential, Agricultural, Institutional, Industrial and Commercial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Lighting, Furnaces, Boilers, Central Air conditioners, Caulking/Weather-stripping, Building Insulation, Windows, Doors, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, Custom, Solar Water Heat, Solar Space Heat, Solar Thermal Process Heat, Photovoltaic, Wind, Biomass, Geothermal Electric, Fuel Cells, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Anaerobic Digestion, and Geothermal Direct-Use. The program offers loans up to 10% of property value or improvement costs. The following legislation set up this program: NYCL Town § 198 & 209-i and NYCL Gen Mun § 119-ee et seq.
