The Maryland Public Service Commission Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) Performance-Based Incentive is a Nonprofit, Schools, Local Government, State Government, Agricultural, Institutional, Commercial, Industrial, Residential program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Photovoltaic. The program offers $400/MWh or 40cents/kWh for SRECs. The following legislation setup this program: Md. Public Utility Companies Code § 7-701 et seq. and COMAR 20.61.01 et seq..
