The Jane E. Lawton Conservation State Loan Program is an Institutional, Hospitals, Commercial, Industrial, Nonprofit, Schools, and Local Government program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Tidal Energy, Geothermal Direct-Use, Solar Water Heat, Photovoltaic, Landfill Gas, Wind, Biomass, Hydroelectric, Geothermal Electric, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Municipal Solid Waste, and Anaerobic Digestion. The program offers up to $500k to be repaid in 10yrs at 2.5%. The following legislation setup this program: Md Code: State Government §9–20A–01 et seq. and H.B. 1442.
