The Howard County Residential Solar and Geothermal Property Tax Credit is a Low-Income Residential, Multi-Family Residential and Commercial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Photovoltaic, Geothermal Electric, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Solar Water Heat, and Solar Space Heat. The program offers up to $5k or 50% of costs not exceeding the property taxes. The following legislation setup this program: Howard County Code 20-128A.
