The Howard County High Performance Building Property Tax Credit is a Multi-Family Residential and Commercial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, Solar Space Heat, Photovoltaic, Wind, Biomass, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Day lighting, Small Hydroelectric, Passive Solar Space Heat, and Solar Water Heat. The program offers up to 75% of the property taxes assessed for 5yrs. The building must meet the LEED standards.
