The Honolulu Real Property Tax Exemption for Alternative Energy Improvements Property Tax Incentive is a Residential, Industrial, and Commercial program for those who have the following energy efficient measures installed: Anaerobic Digestion, Tidal Energy, Solar Thermal Electric, Photovoltaics, Landfill Gas, Wind, Biomass, Municipal Solid Waste, Wave Energy, Solar Water Heat, CHP/Cogeneration, and Solar Pool Heating. The program offers up to 100% property tax exemption for 25yrs. This program was setup by the following legislation: Honolulu City Council Bill 58.
