The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has allocated $300 million to state energy programs for Energy Star rebates on the following appliances:
This is great news for anyone who plans on buying any of the above appliances this year. Each state is expected to create a plan on how the money is disbursed by October 15, 2009. That means rebates may be given out later in 2009 or in early 2010. These amounts could range anywhere from $50 to $250.
