Details:

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Biogas and Biomass to Energy State Grant Program is a Residential, Nonprofit, Schools, Local Government, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, Institutional, Other Association, and State Government program for those who have the following energy efficient measures installed: municipal waste water sludge, Biogas, Anaerobic Digestion, Other Distributed Generation Technologies, Landfill Gas, Biomass, CHP/Cogeneration. The program offers up to $500k or up to 50% of project cost. The installation requires a state licensed installer. The following legislation setup this program: 20 ILCS 687/6-3.
