The Connecticut Housing Investment Fund (CHIF) Energy Conservation State Loan Program is for Multi-Family Residential and Residential organizations which have the following energy efficient measures installed for their buildings: Boilers, Chillers, Furnaces, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners, Programmable Duct/Air sealing, Building Insulation, Windows, Thermostats, Wind, Passive Solar Space Heat, Solar Water Heat, Solar Space Heat, Biomass, Geothermal Heat Pumps, and Photovoltaics. The max is $60k with a potential 1% loan to be paid in 10yrs. The following legislation enacted this program: C.G.S. 16a-40b. For more details use the following link and contact below:
