The Empire District Electric Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Utility Rebate Program is for non-residential customers for the following high-efficiency equipment upgrades: Motor VFDs, Lighting, Lighting Controls/Sensors, Central Air conditioners, Motors, Custom pending approval and Chillers. Max rebates are as follows: frequency drives rebate of $1,350, Motors: $700, Water Chillers: $20/ton, and AC: $92/ton. The total is $5,000 per year.
