The Ames Electric Department Commercial Energy Efficiency Utility Rebate Program is an Industrial and Commercial program for those who have energy efficient improvements made with the following: Clothes Washers, Dishwasher, Refrigerators, Lighting, Lighting Controls/Sensors, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners, Programmable Thermostats, Led Exit Signs, Room Air Conditioners, and Power Factor Correction Equipment. The program offers up to 50% of the equipment cost for appliances to $75 for a programmable thermostat. Appliances must be Energy Star Rated.
