If you own or operate a farm, agricultural property or small rural business, the U.S. Federal government wants to fund your renewable energy or energy efficiency project. In 2008, Congress passed REAP in conjunction with the Farm Bill. This law provides for the financial assistance for “agricultural producers and rural small businesses to purchase renewable energy systems or make energy efficiency improvements.”
